  The interim technical and financial report was successfully submitted to the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation.

 

• 18 June 2024
  A presentation took place at the ISOPE 2024 Conference in Rhodes Island. The presentation covered a paper titled “Second-Order Forces on a Cylindrical Wave Energy Converter Using Theoretical, Numerical and CFD Formulation.” This paper evaluated the second-order RAO of a WEC device by comparing theoretical and numerical methods based on potential flow theory. Additionally, a high-fidelity CFD model was developed. The paper was a collaborative effort of the Laboratory for Floating Structures and Mooring Systems, Division of Marine Structures, School of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens.
